In my opinion, I think the female lead was quite selfish throughout the story, She was wanted to find ways to keep Lex in the duke’s body, even though the duke himself did not want that, it was HIS body, not hers, yet, she would still continue to find ways to keep Lex, which I think was disgusting and selfish of her to do so.

I get she was trying to survive but I agree. idk why other dumbasses would downvote I guess they liked that aspect? Which is toxic. But even if it wasn’t her fault it happened, you’re unwillingly trying to get him to stay “in love” with you even though he hates it. It’s fucked up, no matter how you put it.

Then he forced her into a marraige because he was spellbound. And everytime he woke up from the spell he tried to STRANGLE her. So it logically made sense for her to make him fall in love with her again to ensure he wouldn’t hurt her. As a woman and as the duchess, she has zero control of her life. She has no FREEDOM. Even the spellbound Duke controls her life so much and is damn nauseating. How is she supposed to survive in such an environment? If it were me, I would have killed him and fled by now.

This story got me flying high and sinking deep in one single day. My heart aches and flutters every each chapter. The plot is amazing. I love Baby Erin. I love Duke Rowan too. His never dying love ? finally happy ending. They finally meet. OH SWEET LORD I NEED MORE. i wanna see babies like one chapter where they showed the 2 children, boy with her hair and girl with his hair. i hate this ending 🙁 lot of it is confusing to me and i actually cried because it is so sad to me that he went through so so much pain and loved her one sidedly for like 20 or so years (whatever his age plus like a year) and the whole story we just read like didnt happen. i feel like when they both died the glowing magic should’ve wiped out the whole army and saved them. or atleast reversed to the time when mary and the rest were alive shortly before they died and they both retained their memories of dying and got flashbacks of their whole past. (not relived them!) and then knew what to do to stop the future death from happening together. something simpler would have been so much better. seemed weirdly rushed and just abandoned the main theory of being a magical love story and the sigil didn’t really play a role at all in the end other than saying magic isn’t nessecsry but thst doesn’t make sense for this story!! ahh my tears have turned into anger now. sorry for long message!

The story made us readers hanging. In fact, I want to know why duke Rowan don’t want to be called as Lex at the first place, when he got a flashback with his mother. And I’m expecting that they will have children when they got married AGAIN! Since they’ve been planning to have 2 kids. Huhuhuhu! And also, I want to see more reaction from Erin when the duke approaches her in the last part of the story because there’s a part of her memories were lost. Uurgh! I can’t get over it.
